Our specialist orthodontist, Dr Lyndon Walker, will work with you to ensure you receive a beautiful smile that suites your lifestyle.  Creating a brilliant smile is very important and it’s with these changes that builds confidence, and that’s what matters the most!

Dr Walker is registered with the Dental Board of Australia in Orthodontics and is member of the Australian Dental Association.  While working as a General Dentist in private and public practices, Dr Walker was selected to become an orthodontist at the University of Queensland.  He spent an additional three years at UQ becoming a registered specialist.  Along this journey he tutored anatomy and pathology, worked with electron microscopes, lectured undergraduates, and wrote a thesis on "Rat Salivary Glands" and a second on "Growth of the Face".  He has helped people as an orthodontist in Grafton, Strathpine, Longreach, Mount Gravatt, Mackay, and the Whitsundays. 

Dr Walker is qualified in orthodontics and holds the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Dental Studies, University of Queensland.
• Bachelor of Dental Science, Honours, University of Queensland.
• Master of Dental Science (Orthodontics), University of Queensland.

Outside the office, Dr Walker lives only a few streets from the Mackay office, and he loves it there! We have 3 children.  Lachlan is studying teaching at the University of the Sunshine Coast which is a great choice!  And Mitchell and Erin are still at school.  Dr Walker loves to travel, enjoy music, cycle and to explore new things!
