"The world needs more of your precious smile!"
Treatment for Teens and Adults
Whether you are a teen or an adult, we have a solution for you. Varying from Classic Braces to more discreet options, we have you covered.

Classic Braces
When it comes to aligning teeth, Classic Braces are the gold standard. Orthodontic treatment with Classic Braces is predictable, efficient and the best option for most people. Classic Braces are a real winner amongst young patients since they are stylishly affordable and can be decorated with every colour of the rainbow! They are more comfortable today then than ever before – and less noticeable to look at. They are one of the easiest ways to get a beautiful new smile, they are a strong and a great option when playing sport, and easy to clean as they are small – no fuss brushing! Once you get used to them, you’ll probably stop thinking about them altogether. They will straighten your teeth, improve your smile, help you look your best and boost your confidence!

Clear Braces
Clear Braces made of clear ceramic translucent material are incredibly discreet, strong, ultra-small, and comfortable. They’re a popular option among many of our patients - mainly older teens and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. Clear Braces blends in beautifully with the natural colour of your teeth and offers stain resistance. And they do require more attention to oral hygiene as Clear Braces are larger and are more brittle than Classic Braces. For these reasons, Clear Braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than on lower teeth. They do provide an ideal mix of aesthetic appeal and powerful performance, ultra-small with smoother edges making for a more comfortable fit, and designed with advanced injection-moulding process.

Clear Aligners
Clear Aligners are the most discreet option when it comes to aligning your teeth. They are a series of invisible, removable clear plastic trays, that are made especially to fit comfortably over your teeth. They are replaced regularly with new aligners that bring your teeth that bit closer to your perfect smile. Optimal results are achieved with 22 hours wear per day. With Clear Aligners your lifestyle doesn't need to change if you can resist the temptation to remove them. While it’s not the perfect solution for every orthodontic case, it’s a great "invisible braces" option for many patients. We will help you decide if it’s right for you. Not only are the Clear Aligners invisible and removable, you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are less of a hassle. The aligners have no metal to cause mouth abrasions or irritations during treatment. Clear Aligners are provided to give maximum flexibility.

Orthodontics with Jaw Surgery
With orthodontic treatment, it is possible to correct most alignment problems for an attractive profile, nice smile and great bite. But when teeth simply cannot be moved due to lack of bony support, Jaw Surgery is available to move or reshape jaw bones. When the jaw bones are the wrong size or shape, or in the wrong position, it requires an operation to reshape or move the bones so they heal in the correct position. Often Jaw Surgery is recommended for severe jaw growth problems, for clefts, or following trauma. Common examples are small lower jaw or receding chin called an “overbite”, and larger lower jaw or protruding chin called an “underbite”. Jaw Surgery will improve the outward facial appearance, and allowing the teeth to be moved into more ideal bite positions which is important for function and long-term stability. We can advise if Jaw Surgery is a corrective option when considering orthodontic treatment.

GET IN TOUCHTreatment for Kids
We see kids starting from age 7 so that we can start planning that beautiful smile that will last a lifetime! To help parents make informed decisions at the right times, we can guide you in preventing more serious problems from developing and reduce the complexity of treatment later in life. The sooner problems can be identified and evaluated, the sooner an appropriate treatment plan can be explored.

Braces for Kids
Braces for Kids are a short course braces treatment to help correct early problems in the developing teeth and jaws. It can also reduce any damage the teeth may suffer because of their crooked positions. For example, prominent teeth can easily be bumped and teeth that bite on the edges of other teeth can quickly wear. Also, crooked or overlapping teeth or large gaps between the front teeth are conditions for early treatment.

Plates and Expanders
If your child has a narrow jaw, or a crossbite, a "plate" (also called a "removable appliance") or expander may be used to correct it. The plate or expander is designed to widen the roof of the mouth by gently separating the growth suture in the centre of the palate. And this will allow the lower teeth more room to bite into a comfortable position. We can explore the benefits of a plate or expander with you to see if it's appropriate for your child.

Space Maintainers
Space Maintainers are needed if your child has lost a baby tooth too soon. Baby teeth may be lost early accidentally or they may be removed by the dentist because of tooth decay. At other times an adult tooth comes up in the wrong place and pushes out a baby tooth that it shouldn’t. Space Maintainers hold open the spot left by a lost baby tooth until the adult tooth is ready to emerge. We can explore what is best for your child's particular orthodontic situation with you.

Habit Appliances
Once adult teeth begin to emerge (about 6 years), it is important to stop the thumb or tongue habit. These habits will cause protrusion of the upper front teeth and pushed-in lower front teeth. Often upper jaws are narrower, longer, and have higher palates. And it is possible for the back teeth to be in crossbite (where the top teeth bite inside the lower). Habit appliances are glued-in or removable with a wire guard which serves as a reminder plus prevents any real suction against the roof of the mouth.
